Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi.

Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or explore the city at your leisure. In the evening, your guide will provide a detailed safari briefing, covering the itinerary, destinations, and wildlife expectations.

This is also a time to rest and prepare for the exciting journey ahead into Kenya’s national parks.

Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, you will begin your journey to Amboseli National Park. The drive takes you through the scenic landscapes of southern Kenya, passing local communities and open savannah plains along the way. You will arrive in Amboseli in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy your first game drive in the park, exploring its vast open plains, swamps, and acacia woodlands. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, offering excellent photography opportunities. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Full Day Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park. Spend the day exploring its diverse ecosystems, including open plains, swamps, and seasonal lakes that attract a wide variety of wildlife. Amboseli is especially famous for its large elephant herds, often seen walking gracefully with Mount Kilimanjaro providing a breathtaking backdrop.

You will enjoy excellent opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, allowing you to maximize your time in the wild. In the late afternoon, continue with game viewing as you return toward your lodge.

Arrive in the evening for dinner and relaxation, sharing stories of your first full safari experience in Kenya.

Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and begin your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, traveling through the scenic Great Rift Valley with stops for photography and views along the way. You will arrive in Nakuru region in the afternoon and check in at your lodge.

Depending on time, you may enjoy a short evening relaxation or optional game drive near the park area. Lake Nakuru is famous for its rhino sanctuary, flamingos along the lake shores, and diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, and buffaloes.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at your lodge and rest as you prepare for a full exploration of the park the following day.

Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, home to both black and white rhinos, as well as Rothschild giraffes and a variety of birdlife. Later, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving through the scenic Rift Valley landscapes and traditional Maasai communities along the way.

You will arrive in Maasai Mara in the afternoon and proceed for an introductory game drive en route to your camp. The reserve is known for its rich concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, and vast herds of herbivores.

In the evening, arrive at your camp for dinner and relaxation, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Full Day Maasai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations. Spend the day exploring the vast savannah plains in search of the Big Five and other incredible wildlife species. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, a spectacular natural event involving thousands of animals crossing the plains.

Your experienced guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas, increasing your chances of spotting lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and more. A picnic lunch will be served in the reserve, allowing you to enjoy uninterrupted time in the wild. In the late afternoon, continue game viewing before returning to your camp.

In the evening, relax at your camp and enjoy dinner while reflecting on a memorable day in the Maasai Mara.

Maasai Mara – Nairobi (Departure)

After breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive in the Maasai Mara as you exit the park, taking in your final views of the vast savannah and its wildlife. This is a great opportunity for last wildlife sightings and photography.

Afterward, begin your journey back to Nairobi, driving through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) for your onward flight or to your hotel if you are extending your stay.
