Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi.
Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or explore the city at your leisure. In the evening, your guide will provide a detailed safari briefing, covering the itinerary, destinations, and wildlife expectations.
This is also a time to rest and prepare for the exciting journey ahead into Kenya’s national parks.
Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, you will begin your journey to Amboseli National Park. The drive takes you through the scenic landscapes of southern Kenya, passing local communities and open savannah plains along the way. You will arrive in Amboseli in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy your first game drive in the park, exploring its vast open plains, swamps, and acacia woodlands. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, offering excellent photography opportunities. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Full Day Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park. Spend the day exploring its diverse ecosystems, including open plains, swamps, and seasonal lakes that attract a wide variety of wildlife. Amboseli is especially famous for its large elephant herds, often seen walking gracefully with Mount Kilimanjaro providing a breathtaking backdrop.
You will enjoy excellent opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, allowing you to maximize your time in the wild. In the late afternoon, continue with game viewing as you return toward your lodge.

Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and begin your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, traveling through the scenic Great Rift Valley with stops for photography and views along the way. You will arrive in Nakuru region in the afternoon and check in at your lodge.
Depending on time, you may enjoy a short evening relaxation or optional game drive near the park area. Lake Nakuru is famous for its rhino sanctuary, flamingos along the lake shores, and diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, and buffaloes.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at your lodge and rest as you prepare for a full exploration of the park the following day.
Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, home to both black and white rhinos, as well as Rothschild giraffes and a variety of birdlife. Later, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving through the scenic Rift Valley landscapes and traditional Maasai communities along the way.

Afterward, begin your journey back to Nairobi, driving through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) for your onward flight or to your hotel if you are extending your stay.
